Catching up with bloggers Suzanne and Greetje in Amsterdam
There are many reasons I beloved blogging equally my profession. Ane of them is certainly the friendships and connections you build with other bloggers and readers.
And sometimes those connections don't just stay virtual either. I met reader Lorraine in Singapore and previously saw bloggers Lisa and Stephanie.
This week blogger Suzaanne Carillo came to visit. Non just me simply too my blogging and existent life buddies Anja and Greetje. Needless to say we are having a ball!
We are meeting up as a grouping and have created some videos (more on that at a afterward date) but I also got to have out Suzanne individually.
I took her to the streets of Amsterdam, specifically the Jordaan expanse and the '9 streets'. A beautiful expanse in Amsterdam full of independent little shops. My friend Greetje did a fabled report on this area here.
The surface area is surrounded by canals which of course make for the perfect photo opportunity.
I was wearing my Preen colorful skirt which I showed you a few days ago. This fourth dimension I made the await even more colorful by adding an airy fuchsia blouse which I acquired in i of the local shops hither. I paired the outfit with apartment shoes this fourth dimension to brand it piece of cake to walk comfortably through Amsterdam the whole day.
Suzanne embraced color likewise in a beautiful airy bloom clothes. She completed the wait with comfortable shoes and the summer essential we discussed yesterday: the light harbinger lid!
This is one of the new shops nosotros discovered on our walk: Mendo. An incredible bookshop where they only sell big coffee table books nearly fashion and blueprint. The books are sometimes enormous and virtually every designer was covered. An accented must-see for fashion lovers!
Suzanne tried on this gorgeous wearing apparel. Unfortunately, it was simply a tiny bit too small so she did not buy it in the terminate. She sure looks swell in it though!
Of grade we did not only shop but did a little sightseeing as well. Here she is in front of the Paleis op de Dam, the identify where our new rex was recently crowned.
And this is what happens when ii bloggers that have most known eachother for years run across for the first time in real life. Big hugs and laughter all around. Pictured here is Greetje from No Fear of Way.
Greetje joined us for diner after her work and nosotros chatted until we could chat no more than.
It's always a adventure to meet upward and spend a lot of time with people that y'all don't really know in existent life. Then once again, you lot get to know some readers and bloggers so well through connecting on an almost daily basis that it feels that you lot really know them really well.
Suzanne was exactly as I had imagined her to be and more and we had a lot of fun and lots of great conversations.
In that location is still ane more day left to enjoy her company which we will spend with the 4 of us in Amsterdam. Expect some more reports, videos and photos coming up on this site presently!
